Eye Candy: Knitting Patterns I Admire

As you know, I love knitting. As in L O V E knitting. And since I’m designing knitwear, rarely do I get a chance to knit just for the joy, the pleasure of it. Don’t get me wrong, knitting samples of my designs is fun, but sometimes… I just wanna knit something pretty I found on Ravelry.

And this cardigan is one of those super star knits I want to own. It is eye candy to the extreme! And how cool is it when it is designed by a friend? Super star cool!

I’d love to introduce to you my designing friend Katherine Barrios Barrios and her GORGEOUS new #knitting pattern design!

Kate is an international designer who can design lovely sweaters at the speed of light! LOL, well, maybe not that fast, but she indeed is stunningly talented.

🌸This delicate lace kimono style cardigan🌸 is her latest design. It features an all over simple lace repeat and a sweet cherry blossom Japanese knitting pattern stitch along the front bands and at the cuffs. Knit in “Acadia” by The Fibre Co.
The Fibre Co. in a DK 60% Merino, 20% Alpaca, 20% Silk, this kimono drapes elegantly over the body. Elegant to wear to a special event, the office, and for a fun night out on the town when paired with cute jeans. 💖 #knit #knittingpattern
